• Plan and prepare courses and lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Teach a diverse group of pupils, adapting to their educational needs.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
• Implement high-quality teaching practices to ensure consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and the wider life of the academy.
• Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of a professional team.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and an undergraduate degree.
• Experience in teaching the primary curriculum successfully.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning best practices.
• Good subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum.
• Insight into child development and progression in the context of educational planning.
• Effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
