Teaching Focus:
- Primary Age pupils and some secondary age pupils working below age-related expectations
- Life skills/functional pathways
- KS2/KS3 subjects
- Entry level and functional skills maths and English (advantageous)

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to support academic, social, and emotional progress
- Utilise creativity and maintain high expectations for pupil achievement
- Plan and deliver a broad, balanced curriculum tailored to the needs of pupils with ASC
- Supervise and guide Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants
- Conduct Professional Development Reviews for support staff
- Implement school policies, including safeguarding and equality of opportunity
- Monitor pupils' health, well-being, and personal care
- Communicate concerns to Pastoral/clinical/SEND support teams and other relevant professionals
The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching a range of subjects at the primary level, with some secondary level experience beneficial. A strong understanding of working with children who have ASC and a commitment to their holistic development is essential. High creativity, expectations, and a collaborative approach with support staff are key to success in this role.
