Empowering Learning are looking for Primary Specialist Teacher in a bespoke and impressive SEND Setting in Leicestershire . QTS/QTLS is preferable but experience of teaching will be considered. and experience with SEND pupils is favourable.

Required Experience:

  • Have experience working with young people
  • Teaching/Leading experience necessary
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
  • Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
  • Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable not essential)
  • Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
  • Have an understanding of behavioural management

Job Description:

  • Leading in classroom lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Supporting children during lessons/school activities
  • Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
  • Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need.
  • Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
  • Providing behavioural management of pupils
