The Graduate
As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field, and will have a passion and drive to support young learners as they embark on their first steps into their education journey. You will be approachable and welcoming in order to form strong relationships with an abundance of patience and understanding surrounding additional learning needs.

The Role
The support you will provide as a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant will be in both 1-2-1 and small group settings and will be adapted and altered to suit the individual needs of each pupil that you assist. In your Primary SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will utilise your warm and friendly personality to build strong bonds with pupils and colleagues and maintain the positive learning environment of the school. You will enthusiastically participate in activities with the wider school community and be a positive and proactive member of a brilliant team.

This Birmingham-based, one-form entry primary school is looking for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to assist the teaching staff in providing in-depth support to KS1 and KS2 pupils with additional and complex learning needs.
