Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Primary School Teacher in Hayling Island, Hampshire. We are looking for a Qualified Teacher to plan, mark, and deliver lessons.

Pay Rate: £110 - £202.08 per day

Working Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities of the Primary School Teacher:

  • Teach a class of children, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all pupils by embracing the school's values and supporting its strategic development.
  • Maintain high expectations for every pupil, respecting their diverse backgrounds, and actively work towards raising their educational achievement.
  • Promote the school's values and effectively communicate their significance to pupils.
  • Manage teaching and learning time efficiently and organize the physical teaching space, tools, materials, texts, and other resources safely and effectively, with support staff assistance where necessary.
  • Monitor, assess, report, and evaluate pupil progress and attainment, providing written and diagnostic feedback in line with the school's Assessment Policy.

Applicant Requirements of the Primary School Teacher:

  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in Teaching and Learning, along with Qualified Primary Teacher Status.
  • Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in ICT and evidence of strategic use of data. Possess a secure working knowledge of the National Curriculum and its assessment, recording, and reporting requirements.
  • Compliance: Able to provide proof of eligibility to work and reside in the UK. Must undergo an Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check, hold a clean UK Driving licence, and possess TRN, QTS, PGCE qualifications.
