Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Primary School Teacher for the Waterlooville Area in Hampshire. The position is available from 19/04/2024 to 19/07/2024, with a pay range of £110.00 - £202.08 per day, Monday to Friday.

As a Qualified Teacher, you'll be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering lessons for a Year 5 class.

Main duties of the Primary School Teacher:

  • Teach a class of children, ensuring excellent outcomes for all pupils by embracing the school's values and supporting its strategic development.
  • Maintain high expectations for all pupils, respecting their diverse backgrounds, and work towards raising their educational achievement.
  • Promote the school's values and articulate their significance to pupils.
  • Effectively manage teaching and learning time, as well as the physical teaching space and resources.
  • Monitor, assess, report, and evaluate pupil progress and attainment, providing written and diagnostic feedback in line with the school's Assessment Policy.

Requirements of the Primary School Teacher:

  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant Teaching and Learning qualification, and possess Qualified Primary Teacher Status.
  • Experience: Proficient in ICT, with evidence of strategic use of data. Solid understanding of the National Curriculum and its assessment, recording, and reporting requirements.
  • Compliance: Able to provide proof of eligibility to work and live in the UK. Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check, clean UK Driving licence, TRN, QTS, PGCE.
