We aim to provide support to an outstanding Chetdrfield Primary school by sourcing a Primary PPA teacher who will work 4 days a week Monday-Thursday. This will start September 2024-July 2025. The successful individual is required to have the following Primary PPA Teacher qualities, experience and understanding.

Safeguarding
Staff for Education are wholly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment. The following responsibilities will be included in the duties which you may be required to perform:
• Child protection, discipline, health and safety.
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

Job Description
The duties and responsibilities in the job description are not restrictive and you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties from time to time. Any duties should not substantially change the general character of the post Primary Teaching Assistant:
• Being enthusiastic in their work and putting children’s welfare at the centre of their practise
• Able to form outstanding relationships with children, carers and colleagues
• Love working with children across the primary phase
• Work under the direction of the class teachers to deliver fun lessons that you and children enjoy
• Offer a creative eye to support planning and teaching
• Has high aspirations for children and staff
• Offer experience and expertise to add value to the class
