At Accelerate Teaching we are looking for a compassionate teaching assistant (TA) who has a passion for nurturing young minds to make a positive impact to join us to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant on long-term supply at a primary school in Pontefract, West Yorkshire!

As a Primary Teaching Assistant specialising in nurture, you will:

  • Provide Emotional Support and create a safe and welcoming atmosphere where students feel secure and valued.
  • Tailor Learning and collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons and activities to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Build Relationships and forge strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and positive learning environment.
  • Implement Strategies and utilise effective strategies to address social and emotional challenges, promoting the well-being of every child.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with primary school students, with a focus on nurture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom.
