Pricing Analyst

We are delighted to be supporting an established and growing company based in South Birmingham. They are market leaders in their field and are committed to driving their business forward with new innovations. We are looking for a talented and commercially focused individual to join their supportive finance team as a Pricing Analyst. You will play a crucial role in actively participating in all aspects of accounting and will be supporting both the operations and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Finance in preparing for monthly reviews - creating insightful financial analysis and reporting.
• Working closely with the finance and operations to ensure accurate pricing and financial reporting.
• Taking ownership of pricing amendments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Tracking and managing pricing data.
• Providing support in completing financials for new business initiatives, including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Measuring growth through pricing amendments, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Conducting weekly meetings to address issues and track progress.
• Providing support towards management accounting tasks.

Candidate Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience as a pricing, finance or similar analyst role is essential.
• Studying toward completion of CIMA or ACCA.
• Confident and commercially minded with a drive to progress and succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An inquisitive and analytical mindset, coupled with the confidence to approach complex business challenges.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills.
