Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 4pm and Friday 7.00am to 12.15pm

Salary is dependent on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced Press Setter to join our growing client in Swindon. You will be responsible for the efficient setting and running of a variety of presses.

As the Press Setter, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Set presses in line with demand.
  • Carry out first offs.
  • Achieve daily production targets.
  • Work closely with the Supervisor to train operators and maintain continuous improvements.
  • In conjunction with the Toolroom ensure the processes are followed for Tool Changeovers and Tool Maintenance as and when required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Be confident in setting a wide range of Roll Feed Presses and other secondary presses.
  • Understanding on engineering drawings.
  • Be able to use measuring equipment.
  • Motivated.
  • A good understanding of lean manufacturing.
