Press Brake operative

Location: Blackpool FY8
Pay Rate: £12-£15ph (Depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary
Hours of work as a Press & Weld: Monday - Thursday 7am-4.30pm
About the Press brake operative role:
- Working individually and on occasions as part of a team to operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment, to a high quality standard meeting hourly production
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products
- Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S issues.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Maintaining H&S standards following instructions and wearing of appropriate PPE
General Requirements:
- Regular quality checks
- Following internal processes
- Completing paperwork
- Understanding of basic IT
