Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment have a great opportunity for a CNC Press Brake Operator to work for a busy Manufacturing company based near to Yeadon, Leeds.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a CNC Press Brake Operator or have previous Sheet Metal or Machine Operation experience. You will need the ability to interpret folding drawings, be able to work out a fold sequence, have the ability to select the correct tooling and be able to Set and Operate the CNC Press Brake Machines.
Other key skills include:
-Knowledge of Amada Press Brakes would be beneficial
-Use of measuring equipment
-Problem solving
-Good communication and ability to work within a team
-Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness
-Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
-Must have a good work ethic and the ability to learn
Day shifts are 6am to 2.30pm from Mon to Thurs with an 11.45am finish on a Friday. The role is advertised as Permanent and with a starting salary of £26,744 pa (£13.19p/hr). Overtime will be available during busy periods paid at time + ½.
