The successful Presales Cloud Director will be responsible for leading their cloud computing solutions and strategy. You will be driving collaboration with business development teams, utilizing your technical expertise in cloud and cloud architecture, with proven track record in cloud solutions to shape offerings and drive client success.

To be considered for the role

The is a permanent full-time position and candidates can be located anywhere in the UK. One visit per month is expected to a UK designated office, ideally in Cardiff. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction. Please do get in contact with your CV for further detail.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Pre-Sales Architect or within a Managed Services environment.
  • Deep knowledge in cloud technologies, mainstream public cloud providers, with successful ITIL environment solutions.
  • Lead experience mentoring Cloud Pre-Sales teams, with exceptional communication skills for a range of audiences.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, assessing client needs, developing innovative solutions, and driving business outcomes.

Role Description and Responsibilities:

  • Heading up the Cloud Pre-Sales function, guiding teams in designing complex cloud solutions.
  • Working closely with business development to understand client needs, developing tailored cloud solutions, whilst considering compliance.
  • Drive secure, scalable, robust cloud solutions, presenting proof of concepts to showcase their value.
  • Develop in-depth proposals, presenting relevant cloud products as the transformative tools they are.
  • Work with teams to establish and develop competitive pricing models for cloud managed services.
  • Define SLAs for application managed services.
  • Collaborate with finance to develop revenue forecasts, monitoring and analysing performance for improvement and growth.
  • Be in tune with the very latest advancements in cloud, leveraging knowledge to enhance offerings and maintain a competitive advantage.
