Hays are working with a large, national accountancy practice with offices in central Bristol who are looking to recruit into their general practice department at the semi senior level.

Within the role you will prepare annual financial statements, including statutory year end accounts, partnership accounts and sole trader accounts for tax purposes. You also prepare quarterly VAT returns and prepare monthly & quarterly management accounts. The position will be a client facing role; you will liaise with clients over the phone/email & visit them on site. You will also get the opportunity to manage your own portfolio.

This fantastic position is most suitable is for someone with around 2 years experience of working within general practice role who is AAT qualified, or currently studying the ACCA. You will benefit from working within a top 10 accountancy practice, gaining exposure through working with large & established clients, and experiencing great progression within the firm & department.

The position offers an extremely competitive salary depending upon your experience, and will offer full study support for you to become a chartered accountant.
