An amazing opportunity has just become available for an experienced PR & Marketing Manager to join a tight knit London arts organisation, and gallery, in a standalone role providing lots of opportunity for growth and expansion.

Based on site at the Central London gallery 5 days a week, this role requires someone with strong connections within the arts press and media.

  • Manage press and marketing strategy to increase awareness, footfall and increase gallery's brand
  • Write and distribute press releases and pitch to journalists for features, interviews, comment pieces and reviews, pro-actively seeking and responding to coverage opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture positive working relationships with a wide range of journalists as well as artists, partners and other collaborators.
  • Run press events and launches and coordinate media production across all media.
  • Driving PR coverage across the art press and beyond in existing / new publications
  • Researching, organizing, attending and running networking events in London and abroad.
  • Write, publish newsletters, update website and post across all social media channels with clear strategy.

The ideal candidate

  • Must have strong contacts within the art world and art press and know influential journalists, editors and figures!
  • At least 5 years' experience in PR and Marketing
  • Passion and knowledge of visual arts
