PR & Marketing Assistant Part-Time
Our client is a growing local business-to-business company and market leader in Great Yarmouth. They are seeking a part-time PR Assistant to join them.
Hours: 2-3 days a week 8.30-4.30pm or 8am to 4pm, days flexible
This role is based in Great Yarmouth and is 100% office based with free parking.
The role is expected to last for 2-3 months however could be longer. They are flexible with the hours and days.
Duties
• Update company technical information sheets (‘spec sheets’)
• Assist in updating Directory entries
• Assist in inputting website editorial amendments and news stories
• Assist in writing content for press releases, MailChimp and social media posts and other or materials
• Update the media contact database and research new outlets
• Monitor and respond to marketing enquiries
The successful candidate will have:
•Great attention to detail
•Excellent grammar / punctuation
•Proven copy writing / content writing experience
•Accurate proof-reading and copy-editing
•Knowledge of the conventions of different social media platforms
•Good Office Suite skills
•The ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
The PR role is shared, therefore organisational skills and handover notes are essential.
