THE COMPANY

Our client is an established global company that offers Digital Marketing and Technology services. They are now expanding and looking for a PR & Content Manager to join their team.

THE ROLE OF A HEAD OF PR & CONTENT MANAGER

  • Identify PR opportunities and employ creative approaches to develop and execute captivating strategies that garner media attention, elevate client visibility, and expand audience reach.
  • Serve as a representative for our company, attending client meetings, presentations, networking events, and other gatherings as necessary.
  • Lead and oversee a team of content and PR professionals, ensuring effective management and coordination of tasks.
  • Utilise data, analytics, and ongoing PR assessments to refine tactics and adapt strategies as needed, ensuring alignment with set objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the content team, providing support and fostering skill development in press release writing and related areas.
  • Take charge of managing all news releases, from drafting and editing to distribution, encompassing press releases, articles, thought leadership pieces, opinion editorials, and media pitches.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution for clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices in public relations to inform strategy and approach.
  • Possess a working knowledge of SEO principles and their integration with content and PR efforts.

THE REQUIREMENTS OF A PR & CONTENT MANAGER

  • Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a similar field.
  • 4+ years of experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing a team and supporting them with training.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience with local, regional, and national media.
