Tradewind are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic PPA Primary Teacher in the heart of Camden to start September 2024. The school is modern, welcoming, and graded 'OUTSTANDING' by Ofsted (2023).

If you are an experienced and hard-working primary teacher, we would love to hear from you! The school are looking for someone to join their team in September 2024, and interview/trial to commence in May 2024.

What we look for in you:

  • A dedicated Primary Teacher, who is able to teach across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
  • Hold QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Live in or be able to commute to Hackney
  • A deep commitment to delivering high-quality education and lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show and express excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and cultivating a love of learning
  • Be a UK resident with right to work

This position is not for Early Years Career Teachers.

How you will work as a PPA Teacher.

A PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) Teacher in the UK is a substitute teacher when other teachers are training or unwell.

The main purpose of a PPA Teacher is to ensure strong engagement and learning, in the case of the main class teacher being absent. As a PPA teacher you will not have your own class but instead move between classes and year groups when required.

In addition to covering absent teachers. PPA Teachers will also have dedicated time for planning lessons and preparing teaching materials.
