PPA Cover Teacher

Are you a qualified primary school teacher looking for a role without planning and marking? Do you have experience leading pre-planned lessons to primary students? Do you have experience working in UK schools? Schools in Barking require a PPA Cover teacher to lead pre-planned Lessons after Easter holidays.

This role would give you a great opportunity to explore teaching in different year groups - from Reception to Year 6 students and therefore would require a flexible approach! The ideal candidate will need to hold strong behaviour management skills.

The school are proud to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every member of the community is valued and respected. Being a 10 minute walk from Barking train station and with bus stops nearby, the primary school is easily accessible via public transport. Pay rates will vary between £120 to £160 a day for this role.

Requirements:

  • Experience working and leading pre-planned lessons in Primary Schools in the UK.
  • Hold UK Recognised Qualified Teaching Status
  • Working with Reception to Year 6 classes.
  • Live within commutable distance to Barking.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
