If so, our client is seeking a skilled Power Supply Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Gatwick, West Sussex.

The ideal Power Supply Design Engineer will have:

  • Experience in the design and development of switch-mode power supplies with strong design experience and understanding of leading-edge power conversion techniques.
  • Design and development of switch-mode power supplies for sectors such as power electronics, defence, instrumentation, oil & gas, rail, or similar high-reliability sectors.
  • Taking responsibility for the development of the product from concept to manufacture.

To apply for this Power Supply Design Engineer job based in Gatwick, West Sussex, you will need a combination of the following:

  • Formal qualification equivalent to UK degree level in electronics or a related discipline; candidates with equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Three to five years' experience in designing new and re-designing digital and analogue products. * Familiarity with modern power conversion design techniques applicable to DCDC and ACDC from 100W to 30KW.
  • EMC filter design.
  • Digital circuits for BITE, Communications, and Control.
