Power App Developer

Your new company
Hays Technology are recruiting a Power App Developer to join a growing public sector organisation based in the Bradford area on a permanent basis. You will be reporting to the Digital Systems and Intelligence Manager.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom PowerApps solutions to enhance business process and collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements and leveraging your expertise in MS Power Platform to create efficient and user-friendly applications. You will be working closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and ensuring successful implementation of PowerApps solutions.

You will be developing and implementing efficient and scalable PowerApps applications, ensuring adherence to best practices, whilst developing ad-hoc applications as required outside of the Power Platform to fulfil a specific business need. You will also be providing training sessions for end-users on how to effectively use PowerApps applications, whilst offering ongoing support and troubleshooting to address user queries and issues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in PowerApps development and implementation
• Strong proficiency in MS Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Development experience that includes MS Power Platform services, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript
• A certification in MS Power Platform
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills
