The talent acquisition team at NET Recruit are supporting an excellent HVAC engineering business who are searching for a Plumbing Engineer with commercial experience, to join the team in Shepperton. Offering a range of services, tailored and designed to meet the requirements of their growing customer base, this company is experiencing a wealth of success in the current market and are looking for further routes of growth within the next few years.

The position holder will be assigned to various projects and installations, including plumbing installations and air source heat pumps and will also be handling repairs and maintenance as well as Chlorination.

Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Undertaking inspections of plumbing systems on a routine basis
  • Identifying plumbing issues and seeking to find a resolution to these in a swift and professional manner
  • Conducting maintenance and repair work on various plumbing appliances, fixtures and pipes as it is scheduled or needed
  • Installing new plumbing systems as needed
  • Working closely with other engineers to collaborate on multifaceted issues

What You Will Need To Apply:
To be considered for this role, you must have previous demonstratable experience in the plumbing profession, specifically in commercial plumbing, and should be in possession of valid plumbing certifications including the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing or NVQ Level 3 Plumbing. Additionally, you should possess excellent and strong knowledge of plumbing systems and components. A valid driver’s license is required for this role, as well as strong problem-solving skills and good communication. The possession of gas qualifications would be a bonus but not essential.

What You Will Get In Return:
For the successful candidate, a starting salary in the region of £40,000 and this will accompany a fantastic package including an above market rate holiday allowance, good company pension, and bonus incentives for additional callouts. There would even be the option for use of the company holiday lodge after at least 2 years of service.
