Critical to the implementation of iStream Superlight are integral modules and systems engineered to deliver a range of electrical functionalities - these technologies also being scaleable to serve the delivery demands of any specific platform configuration.

With multiple sites in Shalford and Warwick, the Gordon Murray Technologies continues to grow with multiple vehicle programmes currently in development. As a result, we currently have exciting opportunity for a PLM Technical Specialist to join our Team in our Midlands offices.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLM Technical Specialist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and ensuring efficient management of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) data.   1. PLM Strategy Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PLM strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in PLM processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  1. CAD Data Management:
  • Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of CAD data.
  • Ensure data integrity, version control, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize CAD workflows.
  1. Tool and System Implementation:
  • Implement, configure, and maintain PLM tools and systems.
  • Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective utilization of PLM technologies.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to streamline processes and ensure seamless data flow.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Expertise in CAD data management and associated software (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, 3DX).
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
