Technical Network are recruiting for platers and fabricators for a manufacturer of major projects in Portsmouth.

In this role you will be working as part of a team of 2-3 up to 40-50 employees, to deliver large scale projects at the highest of standards.
  • Up to £32,900 per annum, depending on experience
  • 37 hours per week minimum
  • Working hours significantly more during peak periods
  • Additional hours paid at overtime rate

About the job:
  • Electrical Ark / Mig welding
  • Refit, maintenance and ventilation of serving military vessels
  • Working on afloat and drydock vessels
  • Installing new components and completing structural repairs

The right candidate:
  • Comfortable with necessary military security clearance checks, including the requirement to have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 10 years
  • ITAR cleared
  • Qualified with a relevant NVQ or time served with appropriate trade apprenticeship
  • Competent at welding electrical ark / Mig and using a wide range of hand tools and equipment
  • Relevant industry experience, such as oil and gas, off shore, construction, marine etc
  • Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
