Job Title: Plater
Location: Aberdeen
We are currently seeking a skilled Plater to join our workshop in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of various steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
-
Cut and shape steel plates and sections to required measurements
-
Weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques
-
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within specified time frames

Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Plater in a similar workshop environment
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
-
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
-
Strong attention to detail and quality control
-
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay Rates:
PAYE DAYS:
Standard Day Pay Rate Monday- Thursday: £19.40ph
Overtime Day Rate Friday: £29.10ph
Ovetime Weekens Rate: £38.80
PAYE NIGHTS:
Standard Day Pay Rate Monday- Thursday: £21.40ph
Overtime Day Rate Friday: £32.40ph
Ovetime Weekens Rate: £42.80
Shifts:
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30
Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 17:30-04:00
