Seeking experienced Platers to join our team in assembling heavy engineering products for offshore use. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the metalworking industry.

Position: Plater (2 positions available)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Salary: £15.20 per hour
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Contract: Temporary with the potential for permanent placement after 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform plating tasks including electroplating, immersion plating, and other metal coating processes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assemble heavy engineering products for offshore applications.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the plating process.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plater in a metal fabrication or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with various plating methods and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to metalworking.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
