As a Plastic Welding Technician, you will:
- Establish a repair process for locking pins in coordination with international colleagues.
- Utilize hand and power tools to repair and assemble matting components.
- Maintain inventory and stores for composite matting and locking pins.
- Manage tools and spare parts, ensuring accountability and organization.
- Collaborate with management on equipment testing and innovation projects.
- Document observations and compile work summaries for management.
- Track and report inventory levels.
- Operate Bobcats safely for lifting mats onto repair stands (training provided if ticket not held).
- Demonstrate flexibility to travel to field locations when required.
- Embrace learning opportunities and new repair technologies.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
- A valid car driving licence.
- Bobcat licence (desirable).
- An in date CSCS card (desirable).
- A21 Wheeled loader licence (desirable).
- Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.
