Position: Plant Fitter (Workshop)

Salary - £28,000 - £30,000

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Monday – Friday

Immediate start

Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing international engineering company. My client is looking for experienced engineers to join the busy team! The candidate will undertake workshop activities including maintenance and overhaul of the specialist equipment.

The Role:

  • Perform planned maintenance repairs on a range of plant hire equipment (diggers, dumpers, excavators, generators etc)
  • Ensure workspace is clean, secure and safe to always work in
  • Maintain workspace and equipment
  • Ensure all work is carried out to health and safety regulations
  • Lifting heavy machinery and plant equipment

The Candidate:

  • An engineering qualification desirable or time spent experience (Mechanical Preferably)
  • Previous experience fitting or mechanical skills with heavy plant experience
  • Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is common
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Must be able to follow Engineering Drawings
