Position: Plant Fitter (Mobile)

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

Location: Swansea,

Full time – Permanent

Interaction Engineering has teamed up exclusively with a known plant hire company based in the heart of Swansea. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take one two skilled engineers. If you are looking to progress your career further and grow within the industry this is the role for you.

Role:

  • Diagnose and fix any malfunctioning plant and equipment including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Carry out servicing and general repairs on customer premises.
  • Carry out inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Record of work carried out and completing daily job sheets.
  • Must be able to liaise with customers by phone and in person.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience as a Plant Engineer with a strong background working with Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators etc.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in industrial plants.
  • Ability to diagnose and service mechanical & electrical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in challenging situations.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.
