Plant Engineer

Are you a Plant Engineer and looking for your next opportunity?

Company client is recruiting for a Plant Engineer for the client, a cutting-edge facility at the forefront of battery manufacturing based in Coventry and they are looking for a Plant Engineer to join them on an 18 month Inside of IR35 contract / fixed term permanent basis

Responsibilities:

* Project management and equipment vendor liaison.
* Minimise downtime and ensure plant reliability.
* Maintain reports and inspection records for all associated plant equipment.
* Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs.
* Supervise and develop less experienced engineers and technicians.

Experience Required:

* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
* Working knowledge of PLM systems (PTC Windchill preferred, training provided).
* Practical experience in factory and site commissioning.
* Familiarity with DI water, solvent process plant, compressed air, coolant systems, dehumidifiers, and other general plant services.
* Exposure to equipment used in lithium-ion battery products (beneficial but not mandatory).
* Knowledge of MES, software control systems, and facilities management (beneficial).

Skills Required:

* Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and technical information.
* Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and technical report writing skills (in English).
* Desired experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, CREO, or similar CAD software.

This is a site based opportunity and the rate for this will reflect the scope and significance of the client in their sector.
