Planning Solicitor

An innovative law firm, who foster a culture of independence and enablement, is now seeking a Planning Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join its team in Edinburgh. 

The team handles diverse planning instructions, focusing on contentious matters like appeals, inquiries, and judicial reviews. You will provide strategic advice, draft legal agreements, and ensure efficient case management. 

Key Tasks: 

• Provide comprehensive contentious planning advice
• Offer strategic guidance and draft legal agreements
• Manage workload efficiently to achieve objectives
• Ensure financial control and contribute to team training
• Stay updated on relevant case law and legislative changes

The successful candidate will ideally have some knowledge of Scottish environmental law and experience in litigation and planning inquiries. Trainees qualifying this year are encouraged to apply.
