Planning Manager

Planning Manager / Luton / £34 per hour

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the leading aerospace and defence organisations? Our client is seeking a dynamic Planning Manager to oversee and coordinate project planning and execution. As the Planning Manager, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient execution of projects, allocating resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and schedules.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate necessary resources to meet project requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress and measure performance against milestones.
• Data Analysis: Analyse project data and performance metrics to make informed decisions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Address issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
• Adaptability: Flexibly adjust plans in response to changing circumstances.
• Team Development: Coach and mentor team members to facilitate their growth.

Essential Requirements:

• Operations experience with MRP, MPS, and Material Control is essential
• Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in planning, organising, and overseeing projects.
• Experience in using SAP to plan production requirements.

Site based in Luton, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

This is a 12 month temporary contract with the potential to extend
