Job Title: Planning Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £55,000 per annum

A leading Cambridgeshire based FMCG company are looking to strengthen the planning function with the addition of a Planning Manager.

A key part of your role will be to manage the tactical and strategic planning functions, ensuring delivery of short-term daily scheduling and long-term capacity and labour planning whilst maintaining agreed customer service level. Reporting into Planning Manager, you will need to coach the planning team to deliver daily production schedules driven by customer demand ensuring that resources are available to manage this and KPI'S are hit.

You will also need to look at methods of CI to improve the planning function and also utilise the ERP/MRP systems in place to support this. Developing key relationships with your team, other departments, customers and suppliers will be key to your role and a strong personality will be required to do this.

Ideal Candidate
* Experience as a Planning Manager in an FMCG company
* Excellent problem-solving skills to adapt to different situations
* Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships, including exposure to customers
* Very analytical in their work maximise productivity
* Strong IT skills including Excel and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
