Job Opportunity: Planning Consultant (Modular Build)

Responsibilities:

  • Planning Expertise: Lead planning efforts for modular construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes.
  • Site Assessment: Evaluate potential sites for modular builds, considering zoning, environmental impact, and feasibility.
  • Permit Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to streamline the planning process.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential planning challenges, proactively finding solutions.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in planning consultancy, with specific exposure to modular construction.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with planning policies, building regulations, and environmental considerations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex planning scenarios and adapt to changing requirements.
