JOB TITLE: Planner

LOCATION: Burton-upon-Trent

SALARY: up to £32,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full time | Anytime between 6am and 6pm, working 5 out 7 (rotating shift) | 8 hrs shift

THE BUSINESS:

C4S Search are pleased to be partnering with a leading supply chain partner who provide supply chain solutions to a variety of different clients.

THE PLANNER OPPORTUNITY:

• Utilizing software to manage capacity and lead time effectively.
• Analyzing data to ensure targets are achieved.
• Generating daily, weekly, and periodic reports, along with meeting ad-hoc needs.
• Strategizing the allocation of resources for both internal fleet and dedicated sub-contractor fleet.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Possess educational attainment equivalent to at least GCSE level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating advanced skills in data analysis across diverse data sources.
• Preferential familiarity with capacity management tools.
• While route planning experience is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided.
• Knowledgeable in logistics and transportation networks.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and possesses strong geographical acumen.
• Effective communication skills and adeptness at adapting swiftly in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of communicating effectively.
• Thrives under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Exhibits flexibility and enthusiasm towards undertaking diverse tasks with reliability and precision.
• Outstanding team player with a proactive approach to work.
