Location: Dorset
Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per annum
Our client is a leading maintenance company based in Dorset, dedicated to providing high-quality services to various social housing and private clients. With a reputation for excellence, they specialise in planned and cyclical works.
They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Planned Works Foreman to lead their team of Multi Trade Operatives
As a Planned Works Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various planned maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and supervise all aspects of planned maintenance works.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed work schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and safety standards
- Manage materials, equipment, and resources efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the maintenance or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license
- Experience in social housing
