Pipefitter

Pipe Fitter / Commercial Plumbers required working for an M+E company based in Wiltshire. The client are looking for a number of pipefitters, on a PAYE basis to work on ongoing and future projects. The Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter will be working on commercial projects throughout the Wiltshire and Oxfordshire areas (depending where they're based); predominately working on MOD bases, as well as other commercial sites.

The Pipefitter / Commercial Plumber must have an understanding of LTHW systems, the installation of all pipework, such as waste pipework and associated systems, above ground soil and waste systems and full plant room installations. The pipefitter must have experience working with copper, stainless steel and iron pipework.

It is expected that the Pipe Fitter / Commercial Plumber will hold formal plumbing qualifications or specific pipework or pipe fitting tickets.

Pipe Fitter / Commercial Plumber Overview

• You will be working from home, attending sites in and around the designated local area (predominately MOD sites / bases).
• Removal and installation of pipework, central heating systems, boilers, radiators and other associated systems.

Pipe Fitter / Commercial Plumber Position Requirements

• Experience plumber or pipefitter with Pipe fitting steel, Press fit Pipework or commercial plumbing
• Full driving licence
• Based within patch. Across the Wiltshire and Oxfordshire areas, within commutable distance of local MOD sites / bases.
• Experience working with copper, stainless steel and iron pipework.
• Up to date CSCS card

Pipe Fitter / Commercial Plumber Position Remuneration

• Salary between £36,000 to £43,000 depending on experience
• Company van and fuel card
• Working hours: 7:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 4pm on Fridays
• Overtime paid at x1.5 for time worked outside of standard hours
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
