As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking a skilled pipe fitter to join their team.

Your New Role:

As a pipe fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pipe Fabrication: Cutting and threading pipes according to specifications ready for welding.
  • Installation: Fitting pipes and connecting them to various fixtures, equipment, and machinery.
  • System Testing: Conducting pressure tests and leak checks to ensure system integrity.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other tradespeople, engineers, and project managers.


What You'll Need to Succeed:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: A Time Served Apprenticeship or equivalent and a proven track record in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial setting.
    SCATTS or CSCS, Confined Space or MEWP would be advantageous.
  • Skills: Proficiency in pipe cutting, threading, and installation techniques.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of pipes (steel, copper, PVC) and their applications.
  • Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
