We are working on behalf of one of our clients in the Gateshead area who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team. This is a temporary ongoing position with a view to go permanent for the right person.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working from a pick list to pack and prepare orders and ensure they are sent out to the customer on time and correctly
  • Working to daily targets
  • Off loading deliveries, scanning goods on receipt, moving onto pallets and putting stock away
  • Wrapping and sealing of products
  • Labelling products ready for dispatch
  • Ensuring orders are completed on time
  • General housekeeping tasks

Experience:

  • Experience in a production, warehouse or factory environment is desirable but not essential
  • Any previous experience in the use of any Manual Handling Equipment such as LOLOPs or Fork Lift Truck experience
  • This role does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit

Nightshift hours are 10.00pm - 6.00pm Sunday to Thursday.

Pay rate is £11.44 p/hr plus £19.64 per shift worked (averages at £13.45 p/hr including shift allowance)
