Picker / Packer and Store Assistant

Hair Heaven Ltd are a distributor of professional Hair & Beauty products and are looking for an enthusiastic, methodical, accurate Warehouse picker/packer who will assist in the day to day picking and packing of orders as well as managing a variety of other administrative duties and general warehouse duties. In addition work within our trade cash and carry store dealing directly with customers. A knowledge of the hairdressing sector would be a distinct advantage.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Dealing with all the on-line orders efficiently through the integrated system
• Ensuring high standards of parcel presentation
• Assisting in daily loading and unloading of deliveries
• Accurate picking and packing of goods for dispatch
• Processing of orders over the phone
• Assisting customers with any queries over the phone
• Occasional stock-take
• Ensuring good communication with fellow team members
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Booking in collections in a timely manner
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and organised
• Working to quality standards
• Skills and experience:
• Self-Motivated and disciplined
• Hands on and physically active
• A keen eye for presentation
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good customer service skills
• Punctual and organised
• Good at time-keeping and prioritising
• Warehouse experience
• Computer literate an ESSENTIAL requirement
• Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central,Ebay & Excel a key advantage
• Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20Kg on a regular daily basis

Cash & Carry Store requirements:

Be presentable and out going , dealing directly face to face with customers. Handling payments and be able to use a till point system. Making sure the store is fully stocked tidy and presentable. On addition there will also be an aspect of social media posting.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
• No weekends (except stock take once per year)

Salary: £12.00 per hour
