Horizon Teachers is currently working with a Secondary School to fill the vacancy of a Physics Specialist Teacher in the borough of Harrow, due to the current science teacher progressing to a SLT role. This role will be till the end of the next academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role.

The role of a Physics Teacher:

To set tasks and create lesson plans following the curriculum that is tailored to the needs of KS3 through to KS5
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning
Record and report on the student's progress throughout the duration of the year
Collaborating with colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the overall development of students

What you will need:

Strong subject knowledge in all Sciences, especially Physics
The ability to build positive relationships and excellent rapport with both colleagues and students
A true passion in helping students to achieve their true potential
