Day Webster Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our AHP division. If you have a passion for patient care and possess excellent phlebotomy skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate labelling of specimens
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control standards
  • Interact professionally with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort during the phlebotomy procedure
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and processing
  • Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations when handling patient information and specimens

Requirements:
  • Certification or diploma in Phlebotomy or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Phlebotomist, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labelling
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and practices
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
