Pharmacist, Southampton

This reputable and community based Pharmacy is dedicated to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services to the residents of Southampton. With a commitment to excellence in patient care, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join their team.

As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services to valued customers. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing clinical advice, and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.

Key Duties

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide expert advice on the proper use and potential side effects of medications.
• Work with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Oversee the pharmacy's compliance with legal and professional requirements.
• Stay updated on new medications, treatments, services and pharmaceutical developments.

Package and Benefits

• £55,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience, working hours and qualifications)
• 37.5-40 hours per week
• 6,000-7,000 items per month
• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
• Service drive bonus scheme available

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited UK institution.
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in dispensing medications.
