Our client is seeking an experienced Pharma Air Exports Clerk to join their vibrant team at a leading logistics company, renowned for delivering excellence and innovation in pharmaceutical transport solutions.

About the Role:

As a key member of the exports department, you will handle critical air export operations, ensuring our pharmaceutical products reach global destinations safely and efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and compliance in the fast-paced pharma logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Pharma Exports: Oversee the complete process of pharmaceutical shipments via air, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
  • Quotation Management: Provide accurate and competitive pricing directly to shippers and coordinate with overseas agents.
  • Customs and Compliance: Handle export customs entries diligently to meet international standards and regulations.
  • Invoicing and Documentation: Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete for every transaction.
  • Varied Export Jobs: Manage a diverse range of export tasks from initiation to completion, demonstrating flexibility and expertise.
  • Additional Logistics Tasks: Occasionally arrange road freight shipments, manage entries, and handle T1 declarations.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Professional: Minimum of 2 years in air export operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Pharma Expertise: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s standards and requirements.
  • Software Savvy: Familiarity with Boxtop or Sequoia is advantageous, though not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Organizational Prowess: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Commercial Acumen: Good understanding of the business implications of decisions and maintains a high level of professionalism.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a busy team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals
