Personal Tax Manager

Our client, a small independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in the Milton Keynes area, are looking for an experienced and dedicated Personal Tax Manager to join their established team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic firm who are offering a clear pathway to the senior management table so there is opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the firm. The role is ideally full time. however for the right person they will also consider 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the tax team to deliver high-quality tax services to their clients
• Developing and maintaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow their client base
• Providing tax advice and guidance to clients on a range of issues
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring their clients are compliant with relevant tax laws
• Working closely with other teams within the firm to provide a seamless service to their clients
• Contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the firm

The ideal candidate?

• ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
• Significant experience within personal tax compliance within a similar practice environment, with a strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws
• Proven experience in managing a team of tax professionals advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
