Senior Personal Tax Manager

Are you wanting to move away from a traditional practice environment and looking for something a little different?  Would you like to work in a more relaxed, creative environment with a portfolio of really diverse clients ranging from architects to artists and from media to fashion. 

This role is ideal for a Senior Tax Advisor looking to progress and set up the Tax department.

Reporting directly to the Partner, the role will mainly comprise personal tax work for company Directors and sole traders within the creative sectors. Drafting complex tax returns and reviewing mainstream returns prepared by others in the team and offering tax advice to both personal and corporate clients

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of Clients
  • Processing & reviewing self-assessment tax returns
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Undertaking general tax compliance work

To be considered candidates must have;

  • Experience of working as a Tax Advisor in an accountancy practice
  • Experience of reviewing personal tax returns prepared by junior staff.
  • Prepare complex personal tax and offer tax planning advice to clients.
  • A Minimum of 5 years in a Tax role
  • CTA qualified or very close to qualification
  • Proficient in mainstream tax areas, including income tax, capital gains, property tax and inheritance tax
  • Be able to occasionally travel to central London for meetings.
