A great opportunity has become available for a Personal Tax Manager / Senior at a growing and established Chartered Accountancy practice. As the Personal Tax Manager in a busy accountancy practice, you would be managing a client base and also dependent upon experience growing the portfolio as well. This role will be reporting directly to senior management and is an excellent opportunity to showcase your talents and grow within a practice to gather more experience and responsibility.
Job Description:
- Preparation of personal tax returns, partnership returns and a small number of trust returns
- Preparation of residential property capital gains tax returns
- Preparation, review, and filing of P11d returns
- Management and completion of the personal tax workflow
- Meeting with clients to finalise tax returns and potential new clients
- Reviewing junior member's work
- Supporting clients with personal tax-related queries
- Supporting the senior manager and director with tax advisory and planning work.
- 3 years of experience in the preparation of personal tax returns.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive individual
- Strong organisational skills
- AAT qual or QBE
- Experience in IRIS would be an advantage
- Being familiar with cloud software would be an advantage
Salary: £32,000 - £40,720 per annum
This role is commutable from Congleton, Crewe, Sandbach, Kidsgrove, Alsager, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme
The role would suit candidates with the following experience: Personal Tax Manager or Client Tax Manager, Client Manager
