My clients Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Team is offering an excellent Paralegal opportunity. They are seeking a proactive and ambitious individual with the skillset to approach this role with pride, professionalism and empathy.

This full-time, hybrid opportunity can be based from the Bristol office located within easy access of public transport links, restaurants, bars and shops. This role is incredibly rewarding ands offer:

Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Handling new client enquiries
  • Assisting with the initial opening of files, retainer documents and liaising with new clients
  • Actioning requests for medical records when retainer documents are signed and as case progresses.
  • Working alongside fee earners and assisting on client matters by drafting witness statements, cost update letters, assisting with Schedule of Loss, preparing List of Documents, preparing for Trial etc
  • Assisting with identification of appropriate medical experts and arranging conferences with Counsel/client/experts.
  • Document preparation and production using Microsoft Office packages
  • Ensuring all emails and electronic documents are filed correctly within FileSite

Working under supervision, you will be able to assist the fee earners with their day-to-day caseloads and have the opportunity to get involved in business development activities as a key member of the team.

This is a busy role, with deadlines to manage and competing priorities, so you will be required to work quickly, accurately and efficiently, whilst remaining calm under pressure. You will be expected to think ahead to meet the needs of your team and clients.

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

My client expect you to be someone who takes pride in your work and can provide a first-class support service to your fee earners, anticipating their needs in advance wherever possible whilst always paying meticulous attention to detail in all of your work.

You will have an excellent telephone manner, spelling and grammar and be proficient with the usual Microsoft packages, including Excel and PowerPoint.
