Personal Assistant to Headteacher
  • Location: Wellingborough
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30
  • Salary: £12 - £16 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher at a vibrant primary school in the Wellingborough area. The ideal candidate will be someone who can start immediately, working full-time hours throughout the school week.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher.
  • Manage the Headteacher’s diary and schedule appointments.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Excel and Office 365.
  • Take minutes during meetings and ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Assist in the coordination of school events and activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the Headteacher and other staff members, parents, and external agencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Excel and Office 365.
  • Proven experience as a personal assistant, with strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to take accurate and detailed minutes in meetings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
