SALARY £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Role requirements

  • Partner’s diary management; viewing and managing partner’s diary; arranging appointments, travel, bookings etc
  • Liaising with clients/their families; third parties in respect of all client related matters; taking messages; checking email inbox and picking up all urgent matters for the partner’s attention
  • Assisting the partner, where necessary, with admin tasks including passing partner’s instructions to third parties/paralegals
  • Dealing with confidential management related communications when appropriate
  • Preparing documents in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Dealing with incoming hard copy correspondence and ensuring all items have been scanned to the system or brought to the partner’s attention wherever necessary
  • Client and matter opening and ensuring ID and TOB’s and all follow up actions are completed after client meetings
  • Collating case lists, monthly WIP and billing information for supervision and WIP review meetings
  • Ensuring partner completes monthly file reviews for Lexcel purposes
  • Ensuring partner has updated all time recordings to the system on a weekly basis
  • Managing the partner’s email inbox
  • Dealing with partner instructions regarding all file and client compliance-related matters
  • Booking external training for partners
  • Submitting expenses for partner
  • Updating CPD records for partner

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

9am - 5pm however there is flexibility on this (some of the office work 08:30-4:30)
